A fishing vessel has reported being hijacked in position 0852N  05028E, approximately 60nm north east of Eyl, Somalia at 1245Z.

Mariners are advised that this hijacking provides evidence of increased piracy activity following the SW Monsoon and that they should exercise increased vigilance while transiting through the High Risk Area (HRA)
